About Me

I started in civil engineering, moved to Germany for grad school, then taught myself to code. Seven years later, I've shipped enterprise software, government systems, and a dozen personal projects.

2014 – 2017

Civil Engineering, Polytechnic University of Tirana

BSc in Civil Engineering. Scored 90-100% in algebra and analysis, the mathematical foundation that later made self-teaching programming natural.

2017 – 2018

TU Dresden, Germany

MSc ACCESS program at one of Germany's top technical universities. Completed 30/120 credits. Gained German C1 proficiency and rigorous European academic exposure. Decided to pivot to software.

2019

Self-taught Developer, First Projects

Taught myself Python and JavaScript. Built two full-stack applications as backend lead: AACE (membership management for Albanian Civil Engineering Association) and Orange (multi-tenant driving service for an Austrian client). Flask/SQLAlchemy backends, Vue.js 2 frontends, PostgreSQL, production deployments.

2020 – 2022

CData Software, Enterprise Experience

Started in technical support diagnosing client issues, promoted to software development within a year. Worked in a 100GB+ enterprise Java codebase with SVN, Jira, code reviews, and test-per-ticket discipline. The only traditional employment on my record, and it gave me enterprise workflow fluency.

2022 – 2023

Independent Builder, Video & Data Systems

Built a 7-service video management pipeline (TypeScript/Node.js), deployed OpenAI Whisper on AWS SageMaker for e-Albania government services, and started what would become the automated trading system.

2023 – present

AI-Augmented Development Era

Early adopter of LLM-assisted development since GPT-4 launched. Now using Claude Code daily as primary development workflow. Built trading agent framework, self-hosted infrastructure (veron3), manga/comic platforms, and multiple SvelteKit applications, all AI-augmented. This is the way I work now: directing AI to ship at 3x velocity.
